MLM Sponsoring Tips

So you’ve generated the leads, you’ve got a list of people to call. The next part of the MLM sponsoring process is exactly that, turning those prospects into team members. So I wanted to give you some tips that will build your confidence and help you in your quest to build your business.

The foundations of attraction marketing, which you will learn in Magnetic Sponsoring will teach you how to ‘alert’ people to your ability to lead and teach them how to achieve success.

Other people have a natural and sub-conscious attraction to people who possess leadership qualities, and who have a high level of personal value to offer team members.

What this means to you in MLM sponsoring terms is this

You must learn how to convey those qualities to each and every person you speak with.

You must become a leader and you must also learn how to increase your personal value. The more value which your prospects perceive that you have, the more and more they will seek you out and want to work with you.

How Do You Bring Value to Your Prospects

A very important point to remember is that there are few thousand other distributors like yourself out there, offering prospects the same as you are. By that I mean your network marketing company.

So your company does not matter in the slightest. Don’t try and sell your prospects on how great your company is, because everyone else is doing that very same thing. This holds no value at all.

What ‘personal value’ do you bring to the table?

Can you teach your team members how to speak to new people on the telephone? Can you teach them how to advertise so they don’t waste money? Can you hold and run home meetings and teach them how to do the same thing? Are you great on three way conference calls? Are you able to honestly tell people, ‘yes, as a new team member I am able to teach you that as well’?

MLM Tips – Questions to Ask

So here are some typical questions you should be asking, when communicating with your prospects:

  1. Do you have any previous experience in the industry?
  2. Why are you looking for a home business, what is your reason?
  3. How much time and money do you have to invest in your business?

Question three is the ‘golden question’. If you don’t have the time or money to invest in seriously changing their life, you don’t have to sponsor them. It’s up to you, but that’s not how I do business. You don’t want someone to join your team with half cut enthusiasm and time for building a business with you.

Just say something like, ‘sorry, you’re not what we are looking for in our team’! Then move on to the next prospect.

When you get a new lead, always call them to introduce yourself. It doesn’t need to be a sales or recruitment call, again its up to you. Just ask them if they have any questions and introduce who you are that is sending them emails.

Always have an ‘abundance mentality’ when you speak to your leads. Don’t make it seem as you can’t be bothered, but the person who cares least about the new person signing up holds all the power and decision making. If in the back of your mind, you are desperate to sign someone up, the person at the end of the phone will sense it and you will not sign them up.

If on the other hand they sense that it is of no personal benefit to you if they sign up or not – they will probably sign up! It’s just human psychology.

And never get emotionally attached to the outcome of the call. This will be your down-fall. If you feel let down on one call, the person on the next call will hear that in your voice and guess what? They won’t sign up either. So don’t let emotions get the better of you. Stay calm. Keep your mind clear at all times.

What Do You Do if They Sound Like a Good Prospect

If you get a good feeling about someone, tell them what to do next. If it’s on the phone, tell them you’re going to send them an email with a link to a business over view and video which you want them to view.

Tell them that you are not going to chase them up after the call, but to get back to you with any questions. Tell them you know it’s a great opportunity and they’ll either get it or they won’t and you’ll hear from them or not.

At the end of the day, it’s their time and money, not yours that is in need of ‘help’. The more casual you are and convey to them that you don’t need them, the more successful you will become.

You’ve created the attraction (they’ve found you). You offered them an extreme amount of value (offered them training, advice and how you’ll help them build a large business). You don’t need to do any more.

And when you do this over and over. When you refine this process, there is a very good chance that you’ll become financially free in no time at all.
